No need to shoot the messenger. This was a reason we were given, and it makes sense. Im sure it also has to do with gettin an NCATS race, im not denying it at all. Barrie Speedway has been doing the pit road deal for years and years, and all their cars pit outside the track. Seems to work for them.
works good too..the fans see the next heats n pit road i think its better for viewing.
OK. Well've never been to a regular race where there's a pit road on the infield, yet the actual pits are outside the track. How would that work with 3-4 racing divisions lugging all their crap back and forth all night?
Of course, they could take the emphasis off points racing. (regular weekend racing ceased to need points systems years ago) If not for points, there's no other reason Johnny Street Stock would be barrel assing thru the pits with a flat tire. And if he's causing undue danger, then fry him. No pit road necessary.
Mr.Shadow
Do you really think everyone races for points??Come on now,get your head out of your A@s!!!!
i think the pit road is a pain for regular racing....why bother...if i blow a tire in the feature at the beach on a saturday night...i just load it...lol. but invitionals i could see using it...jmo

Heh...not shooting anyone...just playing devils advocate. (come on, you guys know me) Sometimes I just have a hard time justifying the $$$ in my head. But I'm sure it will make it look more professional for sure.
But yeah...I'm kinda leaning toward what smokinjoe said. (and points racing for regular weekend warrior stuff has always been a little peeve of mine.)
