Thinking of doing a new section to my site ( http://sunsetinformative.webs.com ) that contains content from years past. To start with, who here remembers the Four Fun division? Well, what I am looking for is what are some of your favourite memories? Got any images to share? Any cool facts about the division? I've got some content towards 2008, but nothing much beyond that.

My favourite recallection of this class was that it was the most assinine thing anybody could have created. These socalled "Racecars " were absolutely unsafe and should never have been allowed to run. How can a rookie driver (that's what this class was meant for),who has absolutely no experience in racing concider himself safe with a door bar, a transverse bar, and an upright bar in the centre of the car? A standard car seat and seat belt was all that was required. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???????. I recall many, many instances were I had to look away because of the impending wrecks that were about to take place. It is a godsend that nobody got seriously injured in this fiasco of non-thought.
Thats my thoughts on this rediculous idea of introductory racing.

Hey pops 4 fun provided an affordable entry into racing for many current drivers who would never have been able to afford to enter racing in a higher class, and still does.  Also it was a division that can bring in more money than is paid out.  Can't remember any serious injury that happened as the result of the division, and many a night I've seen 30 plus 4 fun cars run flag to flag without cautions, in what was the most entertaining race of the night......

Pops only thing assinine here is your post.....maybe if you need to look away from the track you should take up knitting, that should be plenty safe for ya
