Wattie...thats awesome news! So glad to hear it. Atleast this track ownership listens. Cant wait for next weekend already!
Now if they run the feature with fast cars to the back then that will be something. That experiment with lapped cars was a failure. Sorry to say it like it is.
Fast cars to the front is exceptionally boring and serves no one but the guy leading the points. Make him work for it I say. Start the fast cars in the back and make them work their way through traffic instead of giving one or two guys an unassailable lead and having them lapping 10th place by the 15th lap. Start the handicap right away... no 3 week Percentage buffer.
Love the double up restarts BTW. Allow only the leader to pick his spot. Not that high - low mess Barrie used to have.
IMO
It's baby steps, that may happen but the laps to the back and side by side restarts are huge steps let's just be patient the whole deal will be perfected in due time. Dilley and crew have everyone's ear the best is yet to come just wait.

not to change the subject or anything but i'm a little curious as to the ruling on the restart when baker shot past the lapped cars , when he was lined up next to walters . the green didn't drop yet and he shot past the cars. they waited until the next caution and it was explained to the crowd that a rule was put into place that you could either lose a spot on the track now or after the checkerd flag . i looked in the rule books and i couldn't see anything about this procedure . can anyone shed some light on this ?

On another Subject:
Attended Sunset and what an "awesome show", truly the place to be racing in 2010 !
I just have 1 beef, the # 53 of Donaldson has won all 3 Features at Sunset and at a drivers meeting earlier this year I'm sure it was said that if a car starts to dominate a class it will come apart, " when will this happen as 3x seems to me to be dominating"?
