Yes Im having da'ja vu!!!  Got to the track yesterday at 5 pm, on the way up there they were still announcing it on Rock 95.  Only to find out it was cancelled at 3 PM.  Wonder who made that call???  Opps, I know who made it....lol.  Anyhow.....no rain came!!!  Maybe they need to use a more accurate weather site and actually watch for precipitation patterns.  Oh well, another good night for racing wasted.

to be fair they were probably watching the radar...they couldnt have known that radar would have told them nothing due to the lake effect style precipitation....

next time Mark, gimme a shout lol....I will help any track out

Thayne what school did you receive a diploma from in meteorology?

none...self taught...7 years

I am however a certified canwarn spotter for simcoe county and have taken online classes in meteorology from Penn state's great online program...it only awards you a certification in the field, but i took it for more fun anyways.

I also have a diploma in journalism from Humber College and a BA in media studies from Guelph. That took up most of my time.
