3-wide, you know there is another track around Mosport.. WE weren't rained out. Could've go your racing fix there.

Well, I figured they were rained out..beacuse I only live about 30 mins from Mosport and at about 5:30 we had like a massive down pour.

& like was just said above..Racing at Mosport is about as good as watching paint dry..latly, I'v gone 3 times this year..and giving up, I'l only go when OSCAAR is running.

expesily since TC racing is one of my favouirte classes and at Mosport your lucky if you get 8 cars on the night.

I am getting really tired of these rain outs.

I am quite mad about not being able to race.

I swear Barrie probabaly now had more of my money than Sunset does and I don't even race there. =/ Not Good.

Due to the cancellation at Sunset l went to Barrie for the first time in years, the racing was great, the grandstands and grounds were very nice, unlike what l read on here the food was great, the facility really puts ours and many others to shame, you idiots who complain on here all the time about this track and its management dont know how good you got it. It was a shame they had 5 classes of racing plus two autograph sessions on the same night l left after all the heats because l did not want to wait around all night.

He's no relation to me 😉 (above)

Racing at Mosport stinks cause they don't have enough cars in each class; if you were to put all the cars in the pits out at 1 time you'd have a race :)) = a smile

Yes the car count is down, which is unfortunate, show me a track thats not.

"Stinks" isn't fair. Notice I suggest that you try it because the other races are cancelled. I think as a race fan, some racing would be better than none...

Our low thunder count does "stink", but to try and make that at bit more exciting, they ran an Austrailian Pursit race. Cars spaced around 5 car lenghs apart, standing start, fastest cars at the back. Each lap after the 1st the last place car is pulled from the race, untill one was left. Something different, made for a bit of excitement. They are trying.

As for the thunder feature, there seems to be some bad blood bettween Baker Jr and Mayhew. Watching 2 of the top Thunders in Ontario, battle for the lead, with Baker knocking Mayhew, out of turn 4, with Mayhew recoving the car using pit lane, I don't think is racing that "stinks".

Personally I'm not a huge fan of 4cyl/mini stock racing. But Mosport has a good count in this field. It doesn't "stink" either....

Also to make up for it, they ran twin 25's with the lates. Baker Jr got his first win. It was a tight pack of 15ish (sorry didn't count) lates for all of the laps. Lots of good drivers in the field.

Best race in Ontario, probably not, but what is? "stinks" well sounds like you might be an F1 or go cart fan or something 😉

It rained for about a half hour, when we left the track at about 6 the skies were blue and things were dryin up. what we were told is that the pro challenge drivers would not drive thru the water in pit lane and that no crowds would show up to watch. Every Thunder driver just wanted to race. So we drove home with blue skies all around us just shakin our heads

As far as the Pro Challenge cars are concerned , we have guys that haul from as far away as OTTAWA so if we were told that the race is happening were racing
