totally agree, never said they do not build great cars or engines. most sponsors either for a series or a team usually keep pretty close tabs on exposure of their business because of there money they have invested. and usually sponsors of series will give any info if they are not going to be involved in said series.it gets frustrating when you ask simple questions and you can not get answers.i know of a couple racers who are pursuing sponsorship for mccoll series, obviously they do not know it is not happening. would liked to have seen this series grow into something that would be around for awhile.
Not all hope is lost. There is still lots of time to put this together. Realistically, you're talking about a four-race miniseries; that occurs in the middle of the race season; involving drivers that are already going to have cars built and competing at their home tracks anyway.
Given that the first race of this series (as Jason Parker has proposed it) wouldn't be until July 1st, I'd say there is still plenty of time to get this off the ground.
