Yes they are the issues with the geo/swifts/sprints were that they weight 1300-1500lbs with driver in. Also the Excel and Festiva are allowed, the Eagle Summit isnt an approved car.

Maybe a request could be made to tech to make the eagle summit legal if it has the same motor as a car that is already allowed. the ford probe was never originally allowed even though the mazda 626 was, and they are the same car. all you have to do is ask. Same with the 240 and the stanza...same motor..ones allowed, and ones not

The 1990 Eagle Summit and the Hyundai Excel are identical car except for a little body work which is why i guess Fred signed this permission slip to use it with a std trans  that i have . You can also use the Chevette and the Hyundai Pony with a std trans .

Sorry I was unaware that fred approved the car. I just looked at the list, so if you are building it make sure you bring the slip when you come threw tech for safety.
