Bring back the sunday invitational races on the long weekends. It was done back in the late 90's and it was a great way to see other tracks and not worry about missing a points night. Each track could take a turn on a different long weekend with the different classes available to put on a show. It was good when the "out of towners" showed up to tackle your home track.
Or instead of having Sunset race twice every weekend, why don't the track owners get together and plan to each run a couple of invitational sundays (Sauble is running 3 Sundays this season). For all the drivers who love the invitationals & traveling . . . . seems like a good solution JMO
i think the idea is to only race sunset on sunday,we were told 1,000 thunder and 2,000 late model every sunday.
theyll have to enlarge the pits....lol
exactly........do that ever sunday with a good purse all the way down.......place would be packed..
if you pay, they will come! James Earl Jones is a smart man!
This would be very smart and an interesting twist on promoting..no home cars....but there kinda is if its every weekend, but no points...it is realllllly interesting...if Sunset does this i really think they will see HUGE counts....and amazing racing!
