slammer its really too bad that more of sunsets fast runners were not there this might have not happened. the next g cars do not dominate at barrie. In the top 3 2 are old gen cars. the next gen are the same car and must way 150 lbs more if they do not run the crate engine so they are not too fast. i think it was a bad decision and glen should have done more research before making his call. For your info he even told old gens that they had to run sunset tires, sunset front end rules, ect ect how can that be an invitational? Its supposed to be home track rules. Anyways it its too bad because it makes for real interesting racing and it would make for a good series as the two tracks are so close together...
+1
Of course we can be friends... we might just give you a hard time sometimes... My understanding is that the Sunset tires are 7", Barrie tires are 8". I have both and I can feel a little bit of difference. The Sunset tires have 770 on the side and the Barrie tires have 880 on them, which I believe is indication of size and then hardness, so the Sunset tires are 7" 70 hardness, the Barrie tires are 8" 80 hardness so they are a little bit firmer, the Hoosier scale seems to go up from zero. I really don't think this is such a big deal, and I think hellothere is right, if some of the front runners from Sunset had've showed up at the first Invi that never would have happened. I think some people are making excuses to keep Barrie cars away because some people have done their homework, and some haven't. Not starting anything, just stating my opinion.
slammer if the tracks could talk on here like we do they could work out there problems and yes we are still friends there is no reason to not get along ;D ;D ;D ;D
very well put there slammer if everone thought that way the would be no warnings on bannings on this site. each track has its ups and downs, but being a bsw guy myself i lean the other way but have freinds at bolth tracks.
if I seem a little biased toward Sunset or Glenn and his descision making so be it, it's my Saturday night get away..!! 😛
And in reply Slammer, I am a little biased towards BSW, and the ownership team of Brad Moran and Steve St. Onge (and their staff, too)have always treated me very well. But I won't tell you you're wrong for liking where you race, I'm sure if you didn't you wouldn't go there! Actually I would not think very highly of your opinion if you were to constantly put down your own Speedway...
