Great to see Morrow finally have something go right for a change; as always mostly good racing and some real hard hits. I wanted to bring up the car numbers for comment if I could. There seems to be a few cars less in the 4"s  and super stocks especially with numbers down over the last couple of weeks. The lates have been fairly consistent at 17 or 18 but being greedy who wouldn't want more of those. I also want to point out that sunset still continues to have probably one of the biggest and strongest fields in the province. I have pointed out to my family that goes every week with me, that last year was so strong with pit numbers approaching 90 if I'm not mistaken, it probably went by without truly being appreciated. I believe we saw close to 25 lates, 25 super stocks and over 30 4's on most nites if I recall. It would be intersesting to see a comparison of numbers on average last year to this year; anyone have or no where to see results from last year? Let me be clear again in saying that despite my comments sunset still rules, I'm just wondering why we have lost a few here and there; I know most have not moved to other tracks as I see results from those; some must have retired either temporarily or forever.

lack of sponsorship/ dried up funds most likely have something to do with it for some drivers.  Or that the competition is so stiff at sunset throughout the 3 classes, that some guys have decided to leave the cars in the garage and save the money instead of running mid pack

Sunset's website has the results posted as per the September 11th date but nothing else. http://sunsetspeedway.ca/results_SunsetSpeedway.php?selectKey=30# !. That was the final points night btw. Car counts showed 18 SS, 24 MS & & 21 LM.

You're right about the car counts being down, though jibbyjebidiah makes some valid points towards those not being there with regards to lack of sponsorship. I know Dave Doucette is running up at Barrie and I know other Sunset MS that went to Barrie this year.
