i was impressed that when we got our payout cash from sunset, on the outside of the envelope was written " thanks for a great night of racing......Wes" sounds like a guy who's trying to me. i've never been thanked for going to race anywhere!
Yes, the personal note on the pay packet impressed me too. That was a very nice touch for the promotor to write that to each and every one of us.
I think a few people were a little surprised by the discussion regarding Aug 16 in the Tech Shed. I think there will be quite a few attending Sunset on that date for the "Wes Good Invitational" 🙂

Thanks Skidder, we had a blast... And from talking to a few guys last night there might be more of us "Northern Invaders" coming down on Aug 16th. Seems some people felt left out maybe 🙂
Although one thing to mention... I believe most of us were agreed that we didn't want to have any Sunset points assigned to us when we come down for a night. (So it doesn't mess with the regular points battle in the Thunder Car division.)
Maybe someone can look into this between now and then? Just an idea...
Yorkie I thought that was all dropped when it was decided that just because you get one uneducated drunken fan [im just assuming of course],you dont upset the cart. Please dont include all sunset race fans in that catagory.I love it when out of town drivers come to race at sunset especially the barrie guys as i am freinds with at least a half dozen of them.I personally enjoy sunset myself and for anyone that was there last night , im sure they'll say that it was a truly vantastic show. Everyone stayed to the very end because in my opinion ,it was the smoothest running program all year.Even after running a B main for the 4 funs ,we were getting into our car to head home at 10:05pm. I can see things changing for the better already.
Oh Skidder, settle down, Daisygirl and I know each other, and this wasn't directed at what happened last weekend. It was more to do with the number of fans in the stands or the what appeared to be the lack of. As I said, Oscar will always draw people, and had that been at BSW last nite, we would have pretty much full as well.... This is something we don't get to see very often. Also no matter where you go BSW fans make comments about Sunset and Sunset fans make comments about BSW.
With regards to the Aug 16th race what if it was made and invitational that way points won't really be affected for the regular Sunset drivers, that way if more Barrie cars show up it really won't affect thing, I also thought that the personal touch on the payouts was a good thing. ;D ;D
