Mark
Mark what a fantastic night of racing. I didn't even realize that it was a non points night till i read it here. For being the first race night of the year , i think sunset must have set some sort of record for the size of the crowd , never seen that many people for an opening night , especially a non points night. Racing was as close as Ive ever seen it in all classes to boot.Every race including the heat races was a nail biter. Couldn't believe it that i was home by 9:30. The earlier start really is nice. I think the earlier start time is going to benefit families with small children, children will home in a decent time, much more family friendly. If this is any indication of what race fans can expect when they come to sunset, than this should be the best race season ever for us race fanatics. Mark, you Linda and Steve keep doing what your doing, awesome job by all including everyone working at sunset.
here's the crash.....what was witty thinkin'?

, though when it looked as if Dwayne Baker had a mechanical failure (brakes it looks like), he turned Witty and then hit the wall hard while Witty collected Dario Capirchio and Billy Zardo. Major damage for Capirchio and Baker, but Witty and Zardo were able to keep going as their damage was minor.
What in the heck were you watching? The video shows nothing you just described
Baker turned Witty..............LOL......yah..with his right rear...pretty nifty.
why was it a non points night? who wasnt there?
