Wow, I agree. For a non points night guys were going hard!!! Great action is all classes!!
Also loved the early start time, didn't have to freeze once the sun goes down.
Great Job on night 1!
anybody have the rundown on what took place and who the winners were?
MS - Doug Butler led a lot of laps, though lost the lead to Terry Clodd who would take the win. Butler got a blackflag for mechanical so finishing second would be Nicole Podewils followed by Dan Britt.
SS - Marty Monette would lead start-to-finish in a pretty clean feature. I believe Lane Zardo got second but won't say 100%
LM - That was a race full of drama as lots went on. Caution came out late for debris, which set-up a shootout t othe checkered with 3-5 to go. Jason Witty was able to get by Tony Tiemersma on the restart, though when it looked as if Dwayne Baker had a mechanical failure (brakes it looks like), he turned Witty and then hit the wall hard while Witty collected Dario Capirchio and Billy Zardo. Major damage for Capirchio and Baker, but Witty and Zardo were able to keep going as their damage was minor. On the green-white-checkered restart, Kevin Cornelius was able to get by Tiemersma for the win.
