VELOCITY 250 WEEKEND WILL NOW BE A THREE DAY EVENT
OPEN LATE MODEL – FRIDAY SEPT. 23, 2011
Pits Gates Open 3 p.m.
Spectator Gates Open 6:30 p.m.
Opening Ceremonies: 7:30 p.m. On Track Autograph Session: 7:45 p.m.
Racing Starts at 8:15 p.m.
Race: 100 laps with competition caution at lap 60. At this time teams will be allowed to take fuel, make adjustments and 1 tire (5 minute stop)
Leader at lap 60 will roll double dice to determine the inversion for the last 40 laps. Leader will be paid as follows: Snake eyes $0, 3-6 $100 7-9 $200 10 $250 11 $300 12 $400.
Rules: Any tires changed in competition must be flat (will be strictly enforced) penalty will be 1 lap per tire. All other rules will be the same as Sunset Open Late models current package. The cars (20) that registered on Aug. 21 will have a guarantee to be in the show. 26 to 28 cars will start. This will be discussed at the drivers meeting. Heats will have a max of 10 cars in each.

I am only interested in the 100 lapper LM race, is it on FRIDAY @ 8:15PM and what's the LM event on the Sunday?

Sun will have LLM SS MS Mini Truck and Oscaar
with the addition of Fri it will be one wild weekend.

I'm very much looking forward to that weekend plan to be there all three days, question though..is there a rain date? Secondly if say for example just Saturday gets rained out..will there be any compensation for the fans that buy the weekend pass?
