This new type of racing Wes (Sunset) is thinking of  no points but paided every night should be interesting to see how other tracks look at this.If it works who knows you may see other tracks (dirt or asphalt) follow. Some posters have said Sauble tried it and somebody said Mosport had tried or were thinking of it.On the dirt side South Buxtons 1 of 2 rainout dates at the end of the year and they went with the no points & pay and from what I hear their was no problem there only problem was the 2nd rain date was cancelled due to you know what rain. The Sunday racing time slot will it work I dought it as posters have said with racing Saturdays (Barrie,Flamboro ETC) There is a good chance that there will be some cars that get torn up on the Saturday night and remember the cost first going to these Saturday tracks and then Sunset on Sunday. That can turn into an expensive weekend and if you planned to do it all year that could turn into an expensive year.Thought I heard Wes on his interview say he planned invitational races every race night next year. This should be interesting to see how this will be done.Understand that at the end of the interview RTR  said they would be setting up another interview to talk about the changes coming to Sunset next year.Should be interesting to see what he has to say and how this possible new style of racing ( no points & pay) will go over with the drivers & fans of racing.I am sure other tracks will be taking a good look at this possible new way of  racing. My opinion keep it the way it is points counted but then that is my opinion and other racefans have different opinions which makes this sport so interesting to watch and talk about.

Well it's time to dip into the savings account for that motor for next year. Now which track has the best motor rules?

i rather run at a track with points, to see how you are comparing to everyone else, if you go by wins, 98% of the same people will be winning every weekend, and they will get whatever it is he is planning on giving them at the end of the year..and it doesnt give room for the rookies to have a shot at a win, points is just a better way to keep everyone on track, you know what i mean ???
but thats my two cents,

Oh so there's a question.
What is going to happen with Rookie Of The Year, do they continue that and just base it around average finishes? Or are they just going to say "eff you! too bad so sad!!" to the rookies?
