To the staff, drivers and pit crews of Sunset Speedway

Due to some personal issues, I will regrettably have to resign from Sunset Speedway, I will not be able to devote the time required to work at the track this summer, that is not fair to the staff or the drivers of the Speedway.  I like the direction that the track is going, I think this will be a very exciting season and I will miss being there to share it with all of you.  I have had 5 great seasons with Sunset Speedway as the Pit Steward and have made a great many friends who I will never forget, I will visit the track when I can to say hi and to watch some great racing.  Wes has graciously offered to bring me back if my situation changes and has given me an open invitation to come and visit, thanks very much Wes.

I would like to thank Glenn and Monique Lloyd for bringing me into the Sunset family and entrusting me with the job of Pit Steward, you allowed me to do what needed to be done.  I would like to thank Wes and Pat Good for continuing to show the same support and for displaying their confidence and trust in me by offering me the job as Track Manager.  I have enjoyed working for both past and present owners and am very grateful for all you have done.  Thank you very much.

I would like to thank all the drivers and pit crews for showing me their respect, patience and most of all their friendship, keep those wheels turning.

I will never forget the staff of Sunset Speedway, there have been many people that have worked with me in the past 5 years, too many to list, but I could not have done the job without you. Your assistance to me was deeply appreciated and your dedication to Sunset Speedway was never in doubt.

Lastly, I would like to extend a special thanks to the man that made all of this possible for me, Robbie you have been a great friend to me, you introduced me to something pretty great, I knew nothing of racing, didn't watch it, didn't understand it and didn't much care for it. You have opened my eyes to a very exciting sport and I am forever in your debt.

Good luck to you all and thanks for the memories.
