Well i took dohertys advice and emailed Wes. I explained as a big fan of sunset speedway for many, many years and a huge fan of all the drivers in all classes that race at sunset that it does get upsetting to hear when a racer at sunset [namely Junior] but it could be any racer gets into what i do beleive is a totally blown out of proportion misunderstanding. Sunset has a chance to become bigger and better in the future and i do beleive thats what Pat and Wes want too. I just hope for us die hard race fans that would do almost anything to watch a really good competetive night of racing that something like this can be righted before it takes away anything that has been gained since Pat and Wes took over as owners of sunset. I truely beleive that sunset will continue to blossom back into its greatness of earlier years.
Skidder, I also emailed Wes about Steve and I hope that he takes what I said to heart and really ponders What could be possible!
As a fan of Jr. also , I have sent Wes an email ! I hope we can help these two resolve this issue . Let me tell you though , I wouldn't want to be in a track owner's shoes . Ontario is full of some very talented drivers and I hope we can help them maintain the spirit of driving hard and pleasing us each week with their skills .
I really wish Wes would just change his mind already and get this over with...admit it was a bad idea even when he admitted to Evan and such that he only got 1/2 the story from Mickey before making a decision. I would really like to see Jr back at Sunset this Saturday, I know he wouldn't mind the shorter commute home or to the possible fire the follows the races.
