Just wanted to take a moment and comment on the great changes taking place at Sunset Speedway. I was there last nite for a second week in a row, which has never happened before, and was very impressed with the way the track is now being run. Flagging right on the money, hats off to Jeff Slaughter, I believe thats his name, officials being where they should be when needed, No offense, but that is something I have not seen there in a long time. Great racing last nite, drivers running clean, and showing respect for each other on the track, which by the way seems to be something that is lacking at BSW lately. Heard the news about the changes coming down once this season is over and already I am looking forward to racing next year at Sunset, and that is something I never thought I would be saying. My son who races at BSW and who is taking this year off, was there last nite and says he may just bring his car to Sunset for some racing this year. He was impressed with what he saw last nite. It was great that Mr. Slaughter SR. took the time to talk to him without hesitation and answer his questions and also to welcome him with a handshake to Sunset. That is something that I know you would not see at BSW right now as they all seen to be too busy to take the time to talk to anyone interested in racing at their track. I think I will be making Sunset Speedway my new home track. Again thank you to everyone for a great nite of racing. See you all next week for sure.......
