Another great night of racing at Sunset, not sure I have seen 3 features with so few cautions in a long time, although I think I seen enough cautions laps Sat night at the Wild Wing 300.(151 to be exact)
I wonder though, what may have happened had the LLM feature had 10 or so more laps, or at least enough for Walters to get up along side Baker again...., orrrrrrrrrr, if Walters and Cornelius find themselves side by side on the last few laps next Sat night....
Its why I love short track racing!
Just the opinion of a fan............ 😉
Sounds intreguing. What happeend in the LLM feature?
Who ended up winning the series?
Last night at Barrie was pathetic caution wise. Micks really is his own worst enemy. Congrats to Dilley he sure was due for some good luck. Tonight at Sunset was a great night, Walters finished sixth or seventh after Baker tried to park him, Baker was down a lap "time to get your s##t together Dwayne" and get back to what you used to do best "racing."

Baker and Walters had some contact between them at one point, I heard. I didn't see it so I'll let others tell that story.
As far as the McColl Shootout Series, no champion has been crowned yet as there's still one more round, which is the Velocity 250 weekend on Sept 24/25.
Top Three in Each Division For The Night.....
Mini Stock: Alex Lees, Tyler Junkin, Dale Shaw
Super Stock: Lane Zardo, Matt Bentley, Randy Rusnell
Late Model: Kevin Cornelius, Mike Bentley, Chris Morrow
As far as Walters, he actually came home fifth as it was Sean Cronan fourth with Walters behind him as they were battling hard for position.
