Well said also Wade!! Some people ought to sit in the drivers seat and learn about track conditions, before getting on about some profanity words. When you have big grands( $$$$) tied up in your car and get the shaft by being cut down on. Then the driver ought to be upset, but I think he got penalised for his out burst. So lets leave this as being the end of this topic.
my personal..opinion is,
weather you like or dislike Walters, you should want him at your track.... he will put people in the seats and make stuff exciting...love or hate him...everyone should want him at your track.
After watching what happened you can see that it was a racing incident. Racing is all about emotions you can't deny that. I understand you get upset if you hear foul language but you can't tell me you have never sworn in front of a child, everyone slips sometimes. Anyone who knows who I am will know that I am far from being a Tommy fan, but I know Tommy and know that he would never swear in front of a woman or child on purpose. Like I said racing is full of emotions if you don't like it, don't go to the races.
It's not the first time that kind of thing has happened. The last night of the season last year there was a big T/C crack up in the front stretch and there was some words... and almost a brawl IIRC.
Tom Walters has crowds on either side of the fence. Love him or hate him. And he is a big draw.
This guy is super ULTRA competitive. Racing means EVERYTHING to Walters. Sat. was probably just one of those nights , a spur of the moment slipup after a very hardfought competitive race.Im sure hes thought about it and maybe wishes he had just left the track , but his competitiveness got the better of him. Just talking to him , you know he respects all race fans , even the ones that could care less about him.
