When Doug Harvey came to Barrie in 2005 for the 75 lappers, not even Gordie could touch him. If 94 feels like putting the time into it, he can sweep the floor with most of whats left up there! Doug won the last feature he ran, before he got out of racing for a few years!
North Bay use to run on Sundays. They always had a good crowd. Lets face it if you are a true fan and racer you would race any time any where. There is not much money out there . I truly believe lack of funds is holding everyone back.
I gotta agree that's what it is as for me, I'd be wherever racing is happening. If I had all the money I wanted in the world, I'd hit Kawartha every Friday they ran + Sunset on Saturdays and a race on Sunday. Most fans just love being at the track and being in that atmosphere, or at least that's how it is for me.
Ladybug You are a true race fan, right to the bone.
