I was just wondering if there are points in the brand new 4 cylinder consi race. If you are a guy that only ends up racing the first heat (otherwise known as the lets get the race over with before the joint even opens qualifiers) and placed below 8th and below 8th in the consi would you only end up with points from your heat? If you race a consi and move on to the main feature would you end up with points from heat/consi/feature?
Also image anybody now that has family, friends or sponsor come to see you race and your first race is before they even get there and they have to wait through a whole evening of those other guys racing to watch your feature only to end up seeing one race in the evening? I had a sponsor come out one night that isn't a race fan but brought his two younger grandsons. They loved it but were antsy after a while. He came at 7:00 and seen my first heat (before pre race qualifier days) and made it to my 2nd heat then left right after that. If he was to do that today he would miss first heat and probably have antsy grandkids that would make him leave before he even seen any of my races unless I was lucky to get into the consi race.
Just some late nite rambling thoughts.

Yes you have to keep the kids interested and it can be a hard thing to do. That is one reason my daughter hasn't come to a race with me yet. It must be hard to keep the little ones interested. I guess stuffing their faces with candy may help.
I know all the moms on here are going to let me have it for the stuffing their faces with candy. Just joking.
I never recall points being awarded to Consi races Harold, not at Barrie or Sunset. So do I understand correctly that there is only one set of heats for you guys now?

JT Just my opinion ,but i totally disagree with with the way the slower fun 4s only get to race 2 races.I agree with the 1 heat ,consi idea but as a sponsor of one of the fun 4s ,i disagree with if you dont qualify from the consi you load and go home.Why can they not have a B feature for the non qualifiers even if was just 6-8 laps in duration.I firmly beleive it would be good for all the 4funs knowing they at the very least a third race for the evening , so be it just a B feature.They certainly didnt have much of a problem starting up a new race each night for the thunder cars[the australian pursuit race] which by the way i thouroghly enjoy. The races ran really smooth i thought last night , it finished at a decent time so why not think of these younger drivers even if there is only 5-6 cars that dont qualify let them run.
