I'am not sure if the 602 can get r done at sunset in the thunders.
You wanna bet on that one Larry. haha
no,not that car!!but close,one of the numbers were right.. 😉 😉 😉
You are right ,I do not like the 602 crate . You cannot tech them 100% to see if they are legal or not. We need a better way of policeing them. Just my thoughts ,not meant to offend anyone.
TED
;D ;D ;D ;D Bigger parts to break ''More money ''I can't see that happening.. ::) ::)
From my understanding,there are 2 thunders running 602 crates,with a 150lb weight penalty...
I think its time to lose the weight penalty!! 😉 😉 😉
Please forgive the question but what does the 602 stand for ???
602 is the last three numbers in the GM parts numbering system. When Thunder car drivers talk about GM factory parts they refer to the last three numbers, like a 441 cylinder head, a 624 cylinder head etc...
In this case GM makes a crate engine for racing and it's referred to as the 602. You can find it in the GM Performance Parts catalouge or online, it's the 350hp engine (with headers and a 4bbl, both of which we are not permitted by our rules, so it would be about 320-330hp in Thunder Cars).
Coincidentally 602 is Larry's middle name.

150 lbs is fair for 30-40 hp Larry. Next you'll want roller rockers I suppose?
