Well, everybody packed into the stands for a night of racing, looking to have a good night. What ended up happening instead was a night that saw all the fans wet and disappointed, due to rain. It seems that this year rain has played havoc everywhere with everybody. Peterborough got their first 4 nights rained out, Barrie has 2 rain outs, and now Sunset has their first. Even Kawartha failed to get in their night of racing on Friday as the final 2 features didn't get in.

So due to the rain at Sunset on Saturday night, the heats ran aren't counted for points due to a complete wash-out; this night is kind of pretended to never happen. So here are the results for personal enjoyment and knowledge sake.

Lap 1: Harold Noseworthy to the infield with problems. Heard later from crew cheif Jillian that it was a battery wiring problem. They had the car fixed and ready to go for their second heat, which didn't get in due to rain.
