Polaris13 I did not aim that at you of all posts. I know not all people are out to see Doug get thumped, but trust me most will take any chance they can get to bring him down, im sure.
People just hate a winner. I see it as a challenge. I got to Doucettes back bumper in a special in thunders at Sunset last year, but was just off making a run at him. In other words I like racing against the best, and I want to try and beat them, not have them go away becouse they are to fast and need to be slowed down.
There is no thrill and sence of accomplishment by beating junk and loosers, even if you get the money. Thats why we all go to Peterborough in the fall, cause it sure aint for money lol!
so now that the 79 car has dominated 2 features when are they gonna start adding weight to that car?
if they dont the car will probally keep winning the features and no one likes to see the same car win every week right?
i see that no one cares to comment when somthing other than a nissan wins a feature in the mini stocks. I guess everyone is biased in there opinions that all the nissains cheat because they won alot of races.Why no complaints when a mustang magicaly dominates after running mid pack most of the season. Makes me wonder about that car now too. It seems as tho its also much faster than any of the other mustangs why could that be? Makes me think what could be done to that car?
I think it is not fair that they are giving doug 200 pounds this late in the season. Its also not fair that they took the legal tires off four cars because one car has done all the winning with them. Its all due to people like 240racer complaining about it.People that dont race at sunset complaining about it. Something needs to be done but not slow the 10 down and leave the 03 and 51 alone.
Sorry I complained about having to build basically a $5000 plus race car to be competitive in an entry level 4 cylinder division.
240 racer i guess you need to learn that speed costs money how fast do you want to go. Its perfectly fine if you dont feel like spendinf the money you just have to reealize that you probally wont be competive if you dont. Doesnt matter what level of racing you are in you have to have the knowledge and the mony to go fast. Its too bad it has to be that way but i guess thats how it works
