i guess i haven't decided on the actual car yet, that's why i'm asking how it's done to see if there is a general way of doing this or if there are cars that are much easier than others. obviously lots of hondas are being raced efi so that seems the logical choice although i'd like to figure out how to make a 93+vw work.
It is time consuming but it is not as hard as some may think to have a clean wired EFI system . First get yourself a good schematic of your car then go to Kinko's and have it blown up as big as you can and put it on the wall in your shop . It is allot easier to just be able to glance over to the wall and look at the wiring diagram when doing this and it will help in trouble shooting . Many cars from the mid 90s on have immobilizers built in as a theft deterrent but i think you would be OK with a 93 Berlin Buick .
I have never done a VW but if i was ,i might try to contact Tom Milligan #24 mini stock from Barrie Speedway . Tom knows VWs inside out and is a very helpful guy .
is it true barrie is going to 16v's for 2010? that was the story being told at frostfest.
