Has anyone ever won a championship at Barrie or Sunset then the next year went to the other track and won a championship? Maybe Walters?

Cant recall that happening either but Frank was close , losing to Poole in 04 at Sunset by 1 point then winning the next two years at Barrie. Unless you count the year the two tracks ran together for one point fund. I think legendary driver #12 Jim Viktil might of turned that trick. I know he won in that 73 season the two tracks combined the points, but not sure if he won the 72 title at Barrie or not but those would be the only ones I could think of getting close to that feat.

I forgot all about Davey.. good point Dave, you've defiantly been around racing forever eh? haha..

Well I think Dave is going to try for the championship, we have a lot of obstacles this year, (good ones.. though!!) buying a house, having a baby, two big ones there! Dave has a guy interested in his car, and we're just waiting on the final word we hope to know something by this weekend.. so we're just going to take it one week at a time. Ya never know whats going to happen.. there is still something like 11 nights of racing.. that's just off the top of my head. It'll be a good close race for sure!!

We have something many teams don't two back up cars, one in which we're bringing this weekend, due to the two features.

Mark I think your mistaken buddy. Frank won the title in 2001 at Barrie. The 2002 champ in Thunders was Robin Jongen who then moved to Late Model in 2003. But Frank was the 2003 champ at Sunset your right on that.
