I think everyone here has it covered fairly accurately. Too bad for Logano.
I'm sure this isn't a big issue, but I'm guessing the spotter for the #43 must have been watching the wreck because that car sure came in fast and late.
Next week should be intense.
On the one replay from the back side, you could see the Burton get into the back of the #43 and turn him around. But ya, he slid in there pretty hard.
But that last lap wreck made that one look like a minor fender bender.
If they go by precedent, Gordon should be out for a race.
But...NASCAR is answerable to no one, so they can do whatever they want...so they won't do it. They need the ratings too badly.
::)
Sometimes I love NASCAR and some days I think its one of the stupidest things going. Today was definitely the latter, especially after that business on the frontstretch at the checker. Absolutely no reason that ever should have happened.
"The sport was made on fights. We should have more fights. I like fights. They're not always fun to be in, and sometimes you're on the wrong end. But fights are what made NASCAR what it is." Kevin Harvick
Lol. Well if Harvick said it, it must be true.
The Phoenix event was exciting. People who are not real fans of racing liked it and will be more likely to watch next week. Fighting is good as long as nobody gets hurt. We need more people in the stands, maybe this is one way to do it.
