The real cool thing about this was when Edwards got out of the car and ran to the Finish line in order to finish the race 😀
That was awesome. Lets just hope everyone in the stands is okay as the broadcasters were mentioning that there is a few injuries.
That was scary as I have seats at Michigan Speedway and they are the first row and then a little path and the fence. Yes let hope the fans are ok. That was a wild start and finish.
I heard on the Speed report, that there were 8 injuries, but nothing too major.
I wonder who got his carburator, that would be a cool souvenier!!
The sprint to the start/finish line would have been better had he started stripping his uniform off, just like Ricky Bobby!
There wasn't very much about that that was "cool." It was going to be a damn exciting finish, but it turned into a replay of last fall's race, except it's what Regan Smith probably wishes he had done. Not many things scare me, but the concept of a stock car going into the grandstands at 180MPH sure does.
