Speaking about knit picking (I like the monkey by the way), anyway I think NASCAR is going too far with this one!

If people don't want reality, then don't buy a scanner. Junior is right on about this. The reason I listen to one is so I get a real feel for what's going on out there, not an editted version.

I know if I was about to hit the wall at 180 mph, I'd probably use the *s* word too! And probably a few more???

H__ll no!!

OOPS, hope the automatic censer caught that one. All joking aside, the fans who buy/rent scanners WANT to hear what the crews and driver's are saying, good or bad. If they don't want to hear any course language, "don't listen in to it"

I think that sometimes in the heat of battle with a 50/50 mix of adrenaline and testosterone, even a man of the cloth may take the Lord's name in vain, of course he will take a moment to reflect afterwards.

What is likely to happen now is that the teams who allow the frequencies to be published for the fans, will just say no, then nobody will be listening in to the conversations. A few people will screw it up for the rest.

An excellent point GM!

I know of one team in CASCAR that used a high frequency that only the more expensive scanners could pick up, that was a bummer too!
