Probation in NASCAR is a joke. Dome something stupid while on probation, your probation gets extended. It's NASCAR's way of saying "go to your room", they think its a punishment but you've got games and computers in your room!
Some drivers comments on this in a blog from what I heard on some speed channel show. Robbie Gordon seems to think if this was him it would have been a different punishment.
3 weeks probation is a Joke and everyone knows it. Sponsors control NASCAR.
Didn't Robby Gordon get fined, docked, suspended for calling Micheal Waltrip a POS?
Should have gotten an award LOL!
Just thought this was interesting...Keslowski's comments on the incident.

This Keslowski against everybody deal kind of reminds me of the Ernie Ervan against everybody deal. When Ervan came to Nascar his talent hadn't caught up to his ambition yet and he pissed alot of drivers off. There were incidents, retaliations, NASCAR quietly worked behind the scenes and eventually Ervan got the message and stood up in front of a driver's meeting, appologized and asked forgiveness and put himself on probation. After that when he earned some respect and figured out how to win he was a constant contender for wins and championships and became my favorite driver at that time. He kept his brash style which I described as somewhere between Donny Allison and Dale Earnhardt. Can Keslowski do an Ernie Ervan? The kid seems too smarmy to me but who knows. Time will tell.
