Very nicely put together 🙂
Patrick - you're definately right about the Open wheel statement. We seen that stock cars didn't work out for Dario, and now he's gone back. So maybe it's the best scenario for him.
A.J - Good point with AJ as that's something I haven't looked at.
Mike Wallace - Another good point! That's why I think the 84 team has leaned against Mike Skinner to keep the 84 in the top 35 in pts so Scott is locked in for the first 5 races.
GEM - Very true as it seems that Ray isn't having the best of days, although Kasey has had some good runs this year.
I don't think at all attitudes will be the big issue at HMS as they seen to have had a good time getting along this year. I don't really see how Mark will change that as he's a low-key type of guy. Though it should get interesting when they want to bring Brad Kelselowski to Cup.
DEI - Well, they're not a top threat though they were a threat to win some races and were just bitten by bad luck. Maybe if they can get their program a bit more back together and wipe away the bad luck they'll be okay. Though it'll be interesting how things go with them next year as they've lost Menards and rumor has it that they'll be loosing the Army also
army on its way to stewarts team on newmans car. maybe basic training would help chubby there with his girth and on track attitude. gem biggest problem there i beleive is that ray has little to nothing to do there anymore. mike wallace is a never was and never will be. raw deal for carp but good for aj.
Don't be picking on Tony's diet. He is trying his best to loose weight and has signed up for 2 more years at the Jimmy Spencer Weight Watchers Farm.
I totally disagree with you on Mike Wallace.
The guy was a Natural Superstar until he was hit with the personal loss of his son.
For those that don't know, a couple of years ago, Mike was pulling out of the Garage area at a Cup race and was spotted as clear to back up, only to have his own kid behind the car where no one could see him.
I don't think I need to go into any further details.....
Mike Wallace at the time was rated as one of the top 20 Drivers in NASCAR.
His determination to return to racing should be awarded as true heroism, and I for one will back anyone with that kind of determination and talent.
For those that didn't get it the first time GEICO is not going to Cup with Wallace, they are sponsoring a different car next year. So Mike is working hard to find another sponsor for his nationwide car next year.
I completely disagree with Patrick going back to IRL, with the respect of the drivers and team owners in the Cup garage for what he has done this year in a short period of time. He just needs that one break of a sponsor as everyone agrees and he will settle in quite nicely in Cup. With the likes of Dixon, Castroneves, Kaanan, Franchitti and numerous others in IRL he will get the same deal there as in Cup. So again he would be running in less then top notch equipment.
Of course that is just my opinion and many will disagree with me.LOL
Well thx for clearing up the Geico deal. I didn't know the full story on that so thank you. Hopefully he finds a sponsor!
