UP NEXT: Brighton Speedway

The 2007 Southern Ontario Sprints race for the championship begins this Saturday night (May 12th) at the Brighton Speedway in Brighton, Ontario. The SOS enters their 12th season of competition with defending series champion Warren Mahoney ready to take on a solid field of 360 sprint car competitors. Last year Rick Wilson won two of the four events held at Brighton and he will be back Saturday night to go for the victory in front of a home region crowd. Meanwhile Glenn Styres' only win last season came in the season opener, he will look to repeat and get back to the winners circle. Start time Saturday night is 7:00PM.
