This past weekend during the Northeast Fall Nationals at the Brockville Ontario Speedway, we were giving out Travis Rutz Image cards for a donation of $2. All money collected goes toward helping Travis and his family with all the expenses they are incurring at this time.
The 21 year old from Langley, B.C. suffered critical injuries in a severe crash at the Terre Haute Action Track in Indiana on September 27. He was lifeflighted to Methodist hospital in Indianapolis that night, and has remained in a coma since that time. His condition is improving each and every day and we are all hoping for a speedy recovery.
With Dale and Greg Calnan and the great work of April Wilson, Tyler Rand, Sarah Tate, Tamra Sharpe, and Dillon Sallows to "pass the helmet", we were able to collect a total of $1673.20.
To all the fans, officials and drivers in all classes for opening their hearts and wallets during the weekend, a big heart felt "Thank You".
P.S. can't forget Steve Young and the track for kicking in a couple of nice items for a silent auction.

Also a belated thanks to everyone at the SOS banquet who donated...A total of $1000 was raised there on October 3...and a special thanks to Wiseco Piston for "topping it up" that night to get it to an even thousand.
What's the latest on Travis? Last I heard he could move his fingers and that's it. Is he still in Indy? I hear he has had of the best in the business take care of him When is he heading back to B.C. ?
