RAIN WINS AGAIN AT BRIGHTON

by Tommy Goudge (August 9, 2008) -
Rain once again interfered with the Southern Ontario Sprints tour on Saturday night at Brighton Speedway, forcing cancellation of the evening's events.  The make-up feature from July 12 will now be run on Saturday, August 30 when the SOS returns to Brighton to finish the 2008 season with the 2-day Labour Day Classic weekend!

The traditional Labour Day Classic weekend at Brighton has taken on new importance this season as the final events on the SOS tour.  With the 2008 championship set to be decided, increased prize money on the line, and now an extra feature race to be contested, a great weekend of racing is expected on August 30 and 31st, 2008.  Make your plans now to attend this great event.  Please visit www.SouthernOntarioSprints.com and www.BrightonSpeedway.com for more information.

Please visit www.SouthernOntarioSprints.com for more news and information about the Southern Ontario Sprints.  Commemorative 2008 T-shirts, sweatshirts, yearbooks, and posters are now available.  2008 marks the 13th year of operation for the Southern Ontario Sprints, brought to you this season by Pennzoil, Wiseco Performance, Triple X Race Co., Kenetic Photos, and www.ImageFactor.ca.
