Rain Halts SOS Action at Brighton After Heats

Hot laps and heat races for the Southern Ontario Sprints were completed at the Brighton Speedway on Saturday night, but Mother Nature interfered with the rest of the program as heavy rain fell on the Speedway, forcing postponement of the remainder of the evening's events.
The feature race will be run for the qualified competitors on Saturday, August 9 when the SOS tour is next scheduled to compete at Brighton, along with the heat races, dash, and feature race already slated for that evening. The SOS tour returns to action this Friday night when the Best Western Cairn Croft Hotel presents Round #6 of the 2008 Southern Ontario Sprints season, along with Ohsweken's weekly Friday Night Thunder program.
