What would racers think about having a series similar to USAC running midget's and ford focus midget's, both non winged sprint cars, to run at Southern Ontario tracks such as Barrie, Peterborough, Sauble, Merrittville, Oshweken, etc... The fan base is always huge when you attend these race's in the States and its always very good racing. I havnt seen any style car like this up in Canada and think it would be a great series to have. I want to really run one of these things but the only scheduale going that is close is in Indiana. What does everyone think??
The cost of Midget engines is out of control at the moment...even for a Ford Focus division...
I'd love to see full size Midgets in Ontario (they're my favourite type of race car), but it's not economically feasible, and Ontario doesn't need yet another division to dilute what is already here.
