I think I know about Colours !!! I mean one during the season. And I believe the Sunset is a LLM show. Talked to Merc and said he got 7th after getting collected in a wreck that started with McWhirter but he was able to stay in the race. He wasn't sure if McWhirter lost it or got turned. Shaw ended up on our hood but we kept going. Other than that incident he said it was some pretty good racing. Tough track too he said.
If you could run an "OPEN" - similar to Kawartha's rules running LLM & LM's together that would be fun. The only reason I would suggest you put both together for Peterborough to ensure maximum car count. Two problems with that idea;
Power to weight
Suspension handicaps (Coil over vs. conventional)
A tight track like Peterborough could be a tough with corner speeds being what they are.
If the Stefko / McColl series runs to everyone's satisfaction this year, I could see it expanding.
The real fun would be to get Delaware / Kawartha / Capital City cars to come to an open. But as I just finished saying elsewhere, costs, costs costs loom large in the window.....
from what i remember
1. Gresel
2. Verhoeven
3. Watson
4. Bentley
5. Benish
6. Ramsay
7. Mercer
8. Parker
from there its a guessing game cause with only 11 cars left on track some were lapped numerous times or got stuck in the pits and were lapped under green like the 00 and 11 were. I think last car on the lead lap was either the 5th or 4th place car.
was a very clean race, with the only real 'wreck' involving 82 Shaw, 81 Mercer, and I believe 11 Kennedy (??), after McWhirter got spun going into 1. Congrats to the Sauble Falls boys on a big win!
