Man how long have you been around racing? I don't think there is a driver around who hasn't thrown a punch? a tire iron? a helmet? a wrench? after being wrecked. In the old days there was a full out fight most nights in the pits! It's unfortunate, a mistake, that happened but to my knowledge he apologized and paid for damages! No one condones that but many drivers have done it! Too damn bad Gresel was clearly the reason this happened!

PS You have your opinion and I have mine and we probably will never agree! So be it! Let's move on!

not justifying or defending jon's actions, but one would assume he thought it was the 81's trailer.

Joe,
Your driver made some uncharacteristic mistakes on Sunday night.  Andew is a great driver who had an off night, if is his radio isn't working and he runs the bottom in the middle of the turn then it's his responsibility to leave the top groove on the exit of corners.  He knows that and you know that; he also pushed up into the 22 thirty laps into the race and took out a good car.  I agree that neither of these incidents we are at all on purpose.  Andew is not first driver to have a bad night and certainly wont be the last, but to come on here pass  the buck is not like you guys.  Take responsibility own it, and be done with it.  It's racing, cars are going to get wrecked and people are going to make mistakes, if people cant except that then they should leave their car in the trailer.
Why cant people just be accountable for their actions?  There isn't a driver out there that hasn't wrecked someone; and contrary to popular belief very few are ever on purpose.
What we resfuse to understand as a racing community is that the mistakes that are made on the track are the least of our  worries.  The actions in the pits (not just Sauble beach but all tracks) hurt us all ; we all (racers and tracks) are trying to attract sponsors and fans to make this hobby some how make sense; when we act like animals because somebody made a mistake we only strengthen the stereotype of us being a bunch rednecks.
My two cents worth feel free to disagree.

agree 100%
