For The Record ...

We did not stuff the 22 of Jamie Cox ... Jamie got loose on the outside and hit our door over corrected then hit the back stretch wall . He was mad because "we raced him to hard early in the race"   and we were officially blacked as an involved car.  As for the # 4 incident our radios were not working properly after the 75 lap break there was sweat in the rubber ear plugs and caused them to crackle and become quiet . Andrew figured he was clear and began to move up the track Urlin didnt see him moving up and they both went into the wall .

and this explains why the #81 stayed on the track after the black flag MECHANICAL  (WHICH WAS FOR A LOOSE BUMPER )  they dq'd us from the race for not yielding to the black flag.  We were never told we were not allowed to the track again and we as a team decided to load the car this was a tough night for all . everyone was racing very hard and unfortunate things happen.  SFR had a great car and sends a huge congrats out to Jesse Kennedy for taking home the prestegious skim board.

Andrew Gresel, Jamie Cox and Jon Urlin race very hard against eachother and they do not give an inch to one another. Gresel would never wreck anyone intentionally no matter what track, what car or what other driver.

SFR will not post any other replies to this board any questions contact us on our facebook page under "Sauble Falls"   http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/saublefallsracing

glad to see the great car count and beautiful weather ...

Joe,
Your driver made some uncharacteristic mistakes on Sunday night.  Andew is a great driver who had an off night, if is his radio isn't working and he runs the bottom in the middle of the turn then it's his responsibility to leave the top groove on the exit of corners.  He knows that and you know that; he also pushed up into the 22 thirty laps into the race and took out a good car.  I agree that neither of these incidents we are at all on purpose.  Andew is not first driver to have a bad night and certainly wont be the last, but to come on here pass  the buck is not like you guys.  Take responsibility own it, and be done with it.  It's racing, cars are going to get wrecked and people are going to make mistakes, if people cant except that then they should leave their car in the trailer.
Why cant people just be accountable for their actions?  There isn't a driver out there that hasn't wrecked someone; and contrary to popular belief very few are ever on purpose.
What we resfuse to understand as a racing community is that the mistakes that are made on the track are the least of our  worries.  The actions in the pits (not just Sauble beach but all tracks) hurt us all ; we all (racers and tracks) are trying to attract sponsors and fans to make this hobby some how make sense; when we act like animals because somebody made a mistake we only strengthen the stereotype of us being a bunch rednecks.
My two cents worth feel free to disagree.

Well said 42 crew........ 81 has a fast car no question, but his driving abilities leave much to be desired! He was rough driving from the get go. Stop making excuses for his lack of respect for the other drivers. You can candy coat it all you want, I spoke to the race director myself and he was NOT impressed with Gresel's actions that night. He was black flagged and disqualified for a reason and that reason was not because his radio didn't work! He clearly wrecked 22 and 4. Be man enough to admit it, apologize to those two drivers and move on would be the "right" thing to do!!!!

As a Delaware guy, don't lump that 4 car in as a Delaware car please, he occasionally shows up to race at Delaware LOL

By the way streetstocker...  the #4 is an ACT car and races only the bigger races at Delaware, he has a full schedule in ACT. He does however run alot of fundraising events at Delaware, as his family roots stem way back in Delaware's racing history books, probably long before you were born. Just so you know!

I'm well aware of his roots, but I don't think his roots should be used as an excuse for his piss poor behavior. Just so you know!

Funny.... I think his behaviour has grown, improved and matured as a driver! I think you have piss poor behaviour! Just so you know!
