Thought I would post a few of Sauble's Thunder Car rules. The only real change for 2012 is now there is no 25lb penalty for the floater.
Can some of you guys from other track post your changes? I have read some big ones from Flamboro...and maybe Kawartha? I know it will never happen, but it's really too bad we all couldn't have the same rules...would make for some wicked invitationals!
Sauble
- Crate 3050lb base
- Built 3100lb base
- Rear disc brakes add 50lbs
- Standard add 40lbs
- Ford 9" rear ends allowed(now no penalty)
- Fiberglass bodies allowed - 50lbs must be installed at least 18" from ground
- We now have transponders as well
- Must run the retread tires
- Max 8" wheel
- Max 2 1/4" pipe
Here is what was posted on the other thread for Flamboro's rule change.....
Base weight will be 3100 lbs with the below weight penalties for new options...
Ford 9" floater - add 50 lbs
Standard Tranny - add 50 lbs
Headers - add 25 lbs
