Looks like a new online racing program is getting ready to hit the market, this one without the Nascar name. ARCA SimRacing released its first set of videos this week and the results look absolutely amazing, take a look:

Lowes (Charlotte) Night looks especially spectacular. In my opinion, the videos really seem to give a nice sense of scale to the size of these race tracks.
What are everyones thoughts on this? Could this be the game that finally replaces Nascar Racing 2003 Season?

Salem speedway looks amazing. Would love to see someone do up a late model mod for this game.
Looks like I'll have to get a new gaming rig.
From talking to a couple of the beta testers, I don't think you'll be able to add a late model mod to the game. I'm hoping some of the stuff gets reverse engineered to rfactor, but straight-up ASR isn't supposed to be modable...
how does someone get started with Simracing?
