You guys really are too much.....I guess the trip to McColl's a few weeks ago had nothing to do with my run and picking my chassis builders brain non stop on new ideas doesn't either. Maybe I actually try new things and see what works and what doesn't! Just like anyone else who has been to New Symrna pre and early Ricky Brooks, I have seen people using a rotisserie right out in the open at the end of their trailer for a day. The number one selling item in their parts trailer down there for years was tire dope! Ask me and I'm happy to share that knowledge with you on video or not...
Give your losing head a shake on throwing tires over the fence. The officials marked them with initials, not an easily repeatable mark and came looking for them. If I couldn't produce the initialed tires then what?? or even tires that weren't hot after 75 laps? I would LOVE to see this "video", I mean come ON! I take my tires off after every race, the learning is non-stop - ever notice the 5 holes across the tread? They make for some good information, maybe if you learned about it you might get faster....
Now, if you guys want something to whine about, let's talk about crate motors that were supposed to be sealed and not touched by anyone other than an authorized re-builder, that would be interesting wouldn't it littlemoe?
hey chris, congrats on your colors win, as a matter of fact i had told my wife, kids and a couple other people week before colors weekend that i thought you would win it.
authorized rebuilds oh yes the guys that have two price options for your "refreshing"depending what you would like done.Technically once a crate is refreshed with either option it is no longer a "crate" but a built crate don't matter what option of refresh you choose period! However there are tracks including local tracks that allow racers for financial reasons to do "necessary repairs" to their crates and reseal it for them or just allow it to run. Or of coarse there is those who purchase seals and seal bolt kits off the internet right 22 . As far as tire soakers at almost every pit I have never seen one in any pit at any track in Ontario asphalt or dirt and I have been to many for many years.
littlemoe, now do i have to tell everyone again, there are no cheated up crates here in ontario, i have had a couple promoters and tech guys tell me so! in the words of one tracks promoter and his assistant after watching a crate car get completely sideways in middle of turn 3 and 4 by two car lenghts and still pass the car that passed him before the start finish line for the win, " it is his headers and mufflers that make that car so fast, not a rebuilt cheated up crate" at that time i had the same headers and mufflers on my motor and could not touch this suddenly super fast, ill handling car. and then had another tech guy at another track tell me that cheated up crates do not exist. i now totally believe these are unwarranted accusations and we should cease and desist bringing this matter up. as matter of fact i have became such a believer that i will probably be buying a crate myself in the very near future, now can someone help me here, should i buy the one for 3700. , the one for 4200. , or the one for 6500.? gee, so many choices for the same motor. but remember, i do honestly still believe, see you next season.
I guess it is easier to change the subject to crate motors than deny the tire soaking hehehe. Don it sounds like you already have the tires so to compete go with the high priced crate hehehe P S don the night you had those tires is that the night you won the feature lmao
