excuse me justracin, but don`t leave everything up tp the promoter? that is just plain funny. i have raced at this track since 1989 and have been pretty loyal even when things are rough. i have done everything i can do to help promote the track. putting race car in mall shows, local car shows, walking the streets of lindsay during the car show handing out free passes to the track, dropping schedules off at my sponsors places of business, and even tried to help out by putting a parts trailer at his track. now how much more can i do to help him, maybe just run the place for him i guess. if i did not like the track and the other drivers( even as few as there are) it would be easy to bad mouth the place and go else where. jp does not care what happens, so until he either sells the place or decides to actually give a shit then i will continue to race there and hope that something good actually happens to make the racing better.

LIKE I have stated many Times I love goin To Pete  as a Driver as a crew member  and as a Race Fan.....

wouldn't it be better for your home track to state what you have done and ask your fellow Drivers  Crew and Fans of Pete to help out

I was Tryin to offer a positive push for some one from Pete to do a little Positive Promotion of the  place

kinda like the Fella that started this Thread was asking for

I'm getting sick and tired of hearing/reading/seeing negative things about the track.
Could we post some of the positive things we've seen/experienced at the racetrack, it doesnt have to be pete, it can be any short track?
Maybe some of the owners/promoters could get some ideas and put the ideas to good use!
The only thing that I ask is that we keep this thread on a positive note!

I saw the #47 sitting in front of the tower at Peterborough this weekend . I know he was helping Morgan with his car this weekend , must have needed more tie wraps lol! An inside joke .But think of how many more cautions would have been on the track ....lol. We would have all left there on Monday night . Hey where do I buy a # 48 hat and shirt ?  ;D 😛

It was sure nice to see ALL the improvements done at Sunset International Speedway, with more to come for the 2012 season. Nice to work with such a great family oriented staff, helping each other out and backing them up.  It was an amazing place to be, even to have such a great view of the track with all the improvements done.  Hope everyone has a great season and a MERRY CHRISTMAS and NEW YEAR.
