Well Slapdown, you are definetely thorough on your reports.  But I have a bit of a different take on the LM race.  What was Mercer doing in the race??  He was by far the fastest car, and still found the need to use the front bumber as a battering ram.  I would have liked to see him win the race at the start, but as the race went on, there was no way I wanted him to win it.  I was glad to see Kirk Hooker win it and what a drive by Brandon Watson.
I to thought the announcing was amazing.  The updates from the infeild was entertaining and informative.  I thought the breaks between classes were ridiculous.  I brought the whole family out and needless to say they were getting restless.  3 "gentlemen start your engines".  Please there should only ever be 1.  Glad to hear everyone is okay from some really hard hard wrecks.
Okay Sloapdown, what is your honest take on the LM Race as you are kinda in a tight spot between the 10 & 81.

Nice report , I'm sure we have some very sore drivers out there today . After watching these cars all year long and the speed they put down it was sad seeing them get wrecked so bad . The Polish Prince hope he's okay !  Larry Mackenzie , another top performer who's car is basically now the size of a 4 cylinder . You can always replace the car , but I'm glad they are all okay . I was surprised how hooked up Jason Witty's car was this weekend , a complete rocketship . But it's never over till its over , sorry I forgot to mention Jason's car broke the rearend and his evening was put to an end . Tommy took over from there him with I believe 3 laps to go on for the win . Witty has proven numerous times he is a force to be reckoned with and I'm sure he'll see many future wins , good job and Stompin' Tom what can I say ? It's another sweet win to add to  this years many victories . Thanks #47 team for another memorable year in racing . I'm sure JP was happy with the filled pits , grandstands and camping area. If there's anything I'd change for this weekend : I'd make it mandatory to have lights on all four wheelers at night , for everyones safety .  We had some good laughs , a few drinks and we are one large racing family that looks out for one another . Looking forward to doing it all over again next year . We also met the crew and driver for the #8 LLM Jason Parker . What a good bunch and we hope to see them around at the tracks next year . This weekend was a typical action filled year end finale with top runners from tracks everywhere . Can't wait for next year !**PLEASE NOTE THAT JUST BECAUSE I HAVE A #47 BANNER ON MY POSTINGS , ANY COMMENTS I HAVE OR DECIDE TO MAKE ARE IN NO WAY CONNECTED TO THE #47 TEAM IN ANY WAY *THANK YOU This has been an unpaid for message from me personally ! LOL  ! I figure Tommy gets blamed for everything else anyway. ;D ;D

Many thanks Slapdown for your writeup.

Here are some unofficial results.
I took over 5600 photos over the weekend - i'll
try to have them online on www.racepulse.com as
soon as i can, and will post some here too.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

These are very UNOFFICIAL RESULTS.  They are my viewpoint only, and
may not always be correct.  I'm often shooting photos at the same time,
so the odd position may be wrong (ie I may miss lapped cars, etc...)
Also, disqualifications, protests, etc may alter finishing positions.
I try my best to be correct, but please refer to the official finish.

FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

A lot of people were getting angry with the breaks between races...but I understand all the officials are in titled to take breaks and such...so I would assume that was one of the reason for the delays.

The classic move was during the LLM, I beleive, a guy from "The old smoke house" walked out the starter tower gate with a tray of sandwhiches or something in those takeout boxes, handed 2 up to the starter tower, then walked across the track into the infield to hand out more to staff and crew. I seen few things that funny in my life. Like do we all wait while they eat their sandwitches, or do they eat them in one hand and flag with the other? Yeah the guys are human and need a break, so bring in staff, such as a flagman from another track to reilieve the guy so he can eat his sandwhich and not distract him from his job.

I don't feel that the 30 cars in thunder were to many at all. This is the same group of guys for the most part, than can run 3 50's in a row at Barrie with what 2 yellows? 50 at sunset with one. It was a different game out there. Running at the back I had a driver cut from the outside to the inside ON EXIT of turn 4 to take my front out. Another dumped me into turn 3 exiting the pits, just drove into me (I'm sure that the spin that was refured to in an earlier post, and yeah my car was a mile off, but I'm not going to spin it on my own). All that happening to a car running at the back, that should be away from everthing. Just says whats going on midpack..

End of the year, I'm not even against that sort of racing. The guys were willing to tear up their cars, and put themselves in the hospital to put a show on. Don't belame us, its a case of you need a faster/more crew to clean up the mess and keep the show going. I pitty the crew out on the track and the work they had to to, only human to get tired and slower. What they need to do is bring in more crew for am event like this. Have more out there and give the guys a break so they don't have to eat their sandwiches on the job.. Get crew from other tracks to help and relieve. Like I'm sure the crew from every other track were in the stands anyhow..
