I guess I can put my two cents in because i was there and i drank three cups of coffee on the way home and my girlfriend wont talk to me because i have vanished off the face of the earth for the last three days!
The thunder car A main....wow what a demolition derby. There must of been about 7 cars who spun out just for the hell of it. I thought they had a rule that after three your out. Some people need to do there homework and get there car setups better maybe straigten there fram before they come to the speedway and purchase a brain. Running around and spinning out doesn't make you a race car driver it makes you a pain to watch. The double file restarts was an idea the GP borrowed from down the road at kawarth ( a track with two racing groves) and it did not work at all. All it did was cause a bunch of carnage and wreck some race cars and force another red flag.
I think the late model race was before the thunder cars but it's my post and i will right it in what order i want! Iam not going to lie, i dont remember it at all. I forgot what ever happend after I heard "hooker" give an interview! That was the highlight of my weekend. "I pulled in the pits and told my guys jesus crist this thing is loose" and a whole bunch of other things that made me laugh till i cryed.
Didnt see the 4cylinders, Busy watching paint dry.
The llm model race was about an hour too long had to many cops and was the wreck fest of them all with a couple fights and a wierd outcome. The 69 car got spun or so i saw and then got out and tred to give the guy a knuckel sandwitch then drove into the centre of the pits gave a killer interview about "his 25 thousand dollar race car to the 500 dollar race car" who spun him out. I like it! Nice dig. The only stupid part was when two cops showed up to escort him off the property. COPS DONT BELONG AT SPEEDWAYS. if thats the case go book some guys fighting in hockey. The cops were trying to make him leave during the yellow, the flag men came down and then gave up and restarted the race. the cops woulden't leave the guy alone. Go eat a donut PIG! (i hate cops if you haven't figured that out). Meanwhile the racing up front wasn't bad with jason whitty, vic parsons, the 25 car, tom walters and the 10 car, mike sheppard. Vic drove into 10 like he usually does because he is better than everyone, they went to the back. jason drove around walters like a man delivering a pizza only to come up three laps short when his rear end caught a flame. there for walters won it with the 25 coming in second
Congradulations to everyone who won.
I had a blast all week end. I am for sure coming next year.
Spencer and the anoucing guys did and excellent job
I hope vic parsons enjoy's retirment and wish him all the best!
Hackit
Ps if you have a problem with something i said, I dont care! It's my opinon and your reading it so it is your fault for reading it!
Hackit, agree with pretty much everything but the 4 cylinders. I used to hate them too but they have gotten better over the past couple years and put on a decent show if the boneheads are kept under control. And yes, Hooker is probably the funniest guy in the pits and has all the crazy stories to go along with it.
well my car was fast as hell until the feature, i was on the outside going into 3, the 27x broke something and shot up into the side of me and sent me headfirst into the wall at the end of the back chute. i hadn't even touched my brakes yet. that was by far the most violent experience i've ever had in a car.... period. went to the hospital, nothing broke just alot pulled, mind you i can't shake this dizziness. any pics or a video of the wreck would be great! car is completely stroked and i will post a pic tomorrow.

Man that was a violent hit a real shame as you were the man on the move to the front. The car seemed to be front end less it must have been a treat to load.Sounds like concussion hope not so be well and thanks for putting on a great show.
One thing about A/C expect the unexpected except if its from my brother Ross. 4 cyl the Honda's owned the 4 cyl, the thunder car race was survival very disappointed. The late models had probably the best race of the night,McWhirter had the best car but it did not matter he broke, the 81car Mercer was rocket fast he spun out Brandon when he was leading then came all the way from the back and spun out Balson when he was leading, went to the back and came back again for 3rd l think. Hooker was in a slow and steady wins the race mode and it payed off he ran a very smart race and the race came to him,he won with Brandon Watson all over his bumper for second place.
Hanley in the Super lates once again embarrassed the field but kudos to Glen Watson he did not stroke it for his well earned championship and he ran a well deserved second, Tiemersma and Robinson Jnr were great to watch as they were battling for second in the points and i think Tiemersma got it.
Limited late models Brown and Shepherd had the pole Walters started 9th, Inglis got into an on track battering ram match with Tolton and he got thrown out but he would not calm down so the Cops showed.Tolton was a complete weapon as he also wrecked Cappricio who was having a great run near the front. In the early going it was all Shepherd Parsons and Walters, about half way Walters could hear the fat lady warming up as caution after caution his competition dissapeared with about 20 to go Jason bam bam Whitty came from a survival mode to a winning mode and had Tommy tied up like a thanksgiving turkey it was see ya later Stomper after they had raced hard and clean side by side Jason was gone all Tommy could see was speedy dry but hey its The Living Legend (as Spencer called him and Vic) with about five to go they stopped the race as Witty had a ball of flames under his car he was done for the night so as Chris Morrow would say "I'll take it any way it comes" Walters won his second Big fall race.
We spent all night cursing the drivers, slow officials, the endless cautions the never ending clean ups,the many red flags the total insanity and miss management of the whole racing schedule even the sometimes cold coffee and hot chocolate. But as we drove home and discussed the days events we realised it was just a fantastic day an incredible day and we can't wait till next year.Thank Goodness the weather was nice and Spencer was at his finest.
