I totally agree that the standings are the standings. if the track mabe a bad call then something should be done though. with all the B.S. in the LLm's this year at most tracks it would be a sad day to see guys like Dario packing it in after crap like this.(thank god he's not} as for Dario going after Tolton, I dont Condone it one bit!!!! If someone tried to take my life or put me in the hospital in this fashion I can gaurantee that they would pay for it in one way or another.... Karmas a bitch though and someday someone with a lot of money that doesnt care about fixing thier own car is goin to end Toltons rein of terror, in a very very bad way. And I can say that there will be a lot of onlookers that will just say "Oh well that guy deserved it" Not exactly what we need for racing in Canada. but if Tracks are not going to take responsibility for the actions of the Idiots that they allow to run on thier tracks, then someones going to punish the idiots for them!!
You don't condone fighting where anyone rarely gets hurt, they usually have helmets on, but it sounds like you think it's OK to wreck someone using a 3000 lb race car because it's the tracks fault for not punishing them. Doesn't really make sense. I'd rather see the pushing and shoving, which is usually what happens, no punches, than a wadded up race car. And contrary to what you say, this is what Canadian racing needs, like it or not. The hi-lite of the weekend, BY FAR, was the Witty/Walters fight for the LLM win. But what are we talking about? Tolton and Dario. You probably don't like fighting in hockey either but stick work, the alternative, is OK. Tell me honestly barrieboy, would you rather hear an interview with Tony Stewart who tells it like it is or Casey Kahne who sounds like most every other driver BLABLABLA during every interview. I'll take tony's passion.
I am new at this so bear with me . I was there and first i would like to say that no the 35 car never went in under a green flag so being down a lap is a lie they were missing 3 score sheets and after a bit of looking they found them all and he ran 75 laps just like the 47 . Also he was under the 69 car who may or not known he was there that depends on the fact did the 69 have a spotter to tell him there was a car there. Watching the tape that was posted leaves out one part of the mishap with 03 and that was the part of 03 comming down in to the 35 down the front straight and hitting the 35 front wheel and well if my wheels are off the ground I know I have no control of the car so maybe all the blame should be placed where it belongs and that is on both drivers. Yes racing is a sport of passion but we should remember the fans and the small kids who watch and cheer for their favorite driver how can we as adults say " it's okay to fight cause it's apart of racing " well it's not ,by 03 doing that just gave me another reason to think that we teach our children to "do as I say but not as I do". To see that lady who went after Tolton and one of the crew while holding her 6month old daughter and almost (it was because of a crew member of the 35 who pulled her back by the way )getting clipped by the 23 car running across the pits to get to him well shame on you I think your child would be your top priority and keeping her away so she did not get hurt would have been my top thought. Everyone has their view of things and what we say or do is not going to change that . Tolton sat is his car not cause he didn't want to get out cause his crew and friends would not let him get out . Nowhere in thier racing book does it say it is okay to fight they were preventing it from getting worse then it needed to get.
Have to agree that mistakes are made and that can't be changed. After watching the video, it sure seems like Tolton moved him to the wall. I didn't see the start of the crash while I was there. Feel sorry for Dario, he was one of the few clean cars up to that point but still think he deserves the money where he finished. Mistakes are made and that can't be changed. The black flag to Woolsey in the SLM feature was a brutal call as well. He couldn't get back to the front and finished 7th or 8th. With your argument he should get put back to 2nd. Sorry, can't agree. I also feel that Tolton should get nothing for that blatant move. Doubt we'll see him back next year. Sure hope to see Dario though.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
jusatafan
Thats all i can say to that reply . You have no clue what you are talking about.
again
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
wow Slapdown you took that totally the other direction. I loved watching wendel clark get pumbled by bob probart. I would have done the exact same thing that Dario did, maybe even taken it further!!!!What Canadian racing needs is competition, you are correct sir!! what we dont need is some asshat that uses his car as the 3000 pound weapon like Tolton did,and having someone leave in a frikkin bodybag!! I guess thats what you think the sport needs? And it makes total sense, that if the track had done thier job, a 10000 dollar plus car would not be sittin in pieces in Darios shop, Tolton should not have even been there to start with. The tracks inaction to right the wrong at the beginning caused all of this. And yes someday like I said, someone out there will finally get tired of Toltons shit and give a little of the same medicine right back to him, and yes he might get hurt!! sux but thats the way it goes!! do i like seeing that in this sport i love so much? no i do not!!!! but will the fans in the stands, that are tired of watching Tolton consistantly wreck thier heros or favorite drivers race after race give a damn????? I think not I imagine the cheer will be as loud as when Tony stewart climbs the fence with a checkered flag. And I loved what Al Inglis said as well!! to the point and bang on!!
Oh and I think that i meant to say that i would condone what Dario did lol
