Kinda off topic but I was wondering is there any chance Dario will bring the Cristina's Excavating Crate motor powered #03 Ford Fusion to race Barrie next year??? I always enjoyed watching him race, dating back to my Dad's time as the flagman at Sunset and his short time in the ALSTAR series. I believe he resides in the Richmond Hill area, and I know it would be a little further haul than his current track but it just might be worth it for such a solid and clean runner. I know I for one would love to see that, so much so I'm already working on a nickname for him!!!! Let the exodus begin!!!LOL
I agree Dave, would be great to see him there, but I would really like to see Jason Witty show up. He put on one hell of a show. I knew he had a good year down at Sunset, but was never there to see him. I was very impressed, until there were 3 laps to go. Then the great feeling of an upset became a sinking feeling when I saw him in the infield. When you can run Tommy like that and get a 1/2 straightaway lead, you're a driver. Can't wait to see him run next year, even if I have to break down and go to Sunset the odd night.
As for lap cars, in every feature they had lap cars mixed up in the field. The late model race with McWhirter, they kept giving him the lucky dog, but he never once went to the back of the line, he was half way up in the field. If he had a few more cautions, he would have been back on the lead lap and would have been starting in the 2nd row on a restart. They really botched that up all day/night.

Thanks blkflagagain for your kind words, Dario isn't sure where he will be running next year, it is all up in the air until the rules meetings take place...we actually live in Gilford so Sunset is very close and this is one of the main reasons he runs there... I can't wait to see what you come up with for a nickname haha!!!!
Have to agree that mistakes are made and that can't be changed. After watching the video, it sure seems like Tolton moved him to the wall. I didn't see the start of the crash while I was there. Feel sorry for Dario, he was one of the few clean cars up to that point but still think he deserves the money where he finished. Mistakes are made and that can't be changed. The black flag to Woolsey in the SLM feature was a brutal call as well. He couldn't get back to the front and finished 7th or 8th. With your argument he should get put back to 2nd. Sorry, can't agree. I also feel that Tolton should get nothing for that blatant move. Doubt we'll see him back next year. Sure hope to see Dario though.
Can't agre with those that think Dario should be dq'd as well. I hate the no fighting BS. Our sport is one of passion and emotion. Without it it's just a parade if you ask me. Sort of like what Nascar has become. They have taken alot of the emotion out with their " say and do as we tell you " mentality towards the drivers and I can barely stand to watch it anymore.
