i think my car is definately safe for the weight rule! there should be a minimum weight rule of say at least 2200 lbs at Barrie! my car is 2710 lbs! 200 lbs overweight...If i cheated and gutted my car i could probably gain another half second taking my times down to the 17 flats!

You don't have to cheat to get a mustang down to 2500 lbs there are many cars at Barrie and other tracks that have done it . First i would point out that there is no charger class at the autumn colours so you will have to run in the regular mini stock division and regardless of what your car weighs i doubt you would be able to qualify for the main. I really don't understand guys like you that want other people to be penalized because they chose to build a lighter car with a smaller motor. I would like to hear you explain to Tia Dale why she should add 200 lbs to her car , but i bet i can guess where she would tell you to shove your 200 lbs.
has anybody thought of what might happen when a 2750lb car hits a 2000lbs car at full song, it does not fill my head with warm fuzzy feelings

LMAO, touche...and steeve will ahve a fair chance....The best way is to tube the car and tin floor it....it is legal and thats how u get the weight down.
have seen that happen with Crum-b 2 yrs ago when he hit me with his chevette not a pretty sight for either car, bent my left frame rail at a 45 down to the ground and the chevette was never the same as a matter of fact it barrel rolled down the track a few weeks later with Crum_b's dad at the wheel, it's the shevette this year with Tia behind the wheel
