X-1R Pro Cup Series Partners With Southern National Motorsport Park for 2013 Season Finale

Mooresville, NC 9/12/13- Officials from the X-1R Pro Cup Series along with Southern National Motorsports Park are proud to announce that the 2013 season finale will now be held at the Kenly, North Carolina track on Saturday November 2nd. The move comes on the heels of the series being forced to cancel the original scheduled event at Rockingham Speedway after the track made the decision to close its doors.

“First off I want to thank Michael Diaz and his staff for calling us and inviting us come run at Southern National to give our teams and sponsors the final race we’ve had planned all season. It’s good to know there are still good people in the business that care,” stated Jack McNelly, Series Director of the X-1R Pro Cup Series. “Southern National is a fast track with lots of room to race and a passionate fan base for short track racing making it a perfect fit for our championship contenders.”
